Our history
Tots ‘n’ Cots Daycare, Nursery and Primary School was founded on the 23rd of January, 2010.
Our activities are secular. However, we remain sensitive and respectful to the needs of families of every faith and spiritual beliefs.

Days and Hours of Operation
Mondays to Fridays.
Daycare/Prep class: 6.30.00a.m to 7.00pm, throughout the year except public holidays and two to three weeks during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
The Preparatory Class curriculum is completed within the school term after which pupils may go on break.
Preparatory class pupils who wish to continue during the school holiday, may do so at no extra cost.
Afterschool: 12.30 to 6pm.
Nursery to Primary : 7.45am to 3pm.
Extended Care: 3pm- 6pm (Pre-Nursery-Primary only)
Our Teaching Methods
Our teaching methods are child-centered and guided by:
– The Nigerian curriculum.
-The Early year’s foundation stage principles (British) which set standards for learning, development and care of a child from zero to five years old and an infusion of Montessori pedagogy.

The School’s Moral Policy
We strive to promote the understanding of right and wrong. All pupils are taught to face and accept the consequences of their actions. The school is only a part of your child’s life. Parents, siblings, extended family, the society and sometimes your religious faith will contribute to the moral and spiritual development of your child.

Academic Performance
Upon registration, a pupil is expected to go through every class without skipping regardless of their age or excellent academic performance.
We do not practice double promotion.
Open Door Policy
We operate an open door policy in the Daycare section.
Entry into higher classes during learning hours is not encouraged because of the disruptions that may arise.
